  • 210 g butter;
  • 200 g mascarpone cheese;
  • 3.5 tbsp. l liquid honey;
  • 3 tbsp. sifted flour;
  • 2 large chicken eggs;
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon;
  • 1, 2 tbsp. sugar;
  • 1 tsp baking powder;
  • 1 tsp ground ginger;
  • 1 tsp ginger root;
  • 1 pinch of salt;
  • 1/3 tsp ground nutmeg;
  • ½ tsp baking soda.

The main stages of cooking:

  1. The oven is preheated to 200 degrees. And in a deep bowl, the sifted flour is mixed with baking soda, salt, a spoon of ground cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger and baking powder.
  2. 110 g of soft butter mixed with eggs. They must be injected into the mass alternately and beat well with a mixer at medium speed.
  3. Ginger root is rubbed on a fine grater and added to the dough together with 3 tbsp. l honey Best of all, if it is liquid — so much more convenient.
  4. Dry ingredients are added to the batter, and milk is gradually poured. Everything is well mixed again until uniform.
  5. The dough should be thick and free of lumps. If you have time, it is recommended to leave it for 10-15 minutes.
  6. After that, you need to bake 2-3 cakes in a preheated oven. Each of them will take about 20-30 minutes. Ready baked goods should definitely be cooled.
  7. During this time, preparing the cream. Mascarpone is whipped with sugar and the remaining butter (soft). A few minutes before the end of beating, cinnamon and liquid honey are added. They will help to achieve a rich taste and greater smoothness.
  8. It remains to form a cake. Cakes are laid out alternately on a dish and well spread with butter cream.
  9. The finished cake is placed in the refrigerator for at least one hour, after which it is served at the table.
